A BRADFORD man has appeared in court for stealing sandwiches and a drink from a city branch of Greggs.
Umar Khalil, 36, of Sunbridge Road, was given a six-month conditional discharge for two charges.
In the first offence, theft from a shop, he stole sandwiches and drink, worth an unknown value, from Greggs, Bank Street, Bradford, on February 27, 2022. He was also ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge for this offence.
In the second charge, failing to attend/remain for follow-up assessment following a test for presence of class A drug - drugs act 2005, occurred on March 10, 2022.
Khalil pleaded guilty to both charges and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 12, 2022.
