Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Leeds Grand Theatre
The producers of the bible story that's been given the Andrew Lloyd Webber Broadway treatment are on to a winner.
Take three BBC talent show contestants, send them on the road with the world's longest-running and most successful touring musicals and you've got a hit.
Leeds Grand Theatre was sold out as three of the finalists from Any Dream Will Do took to the stage.
With his superb voice and good looks, Craig Chalmers, right, is ideal in the role of Joseph.
The star of the show, however, was undoubtedly the contest's runner-up, Keith Jack, who was outstanding as the Narrator. The enthusiasm of the 11 brothers, including Any Dream Will Do contestant Chris Barton, is infectious.
The high-energy show bounces along at a great pace, with songs covering a huge range of styles - from Elvis-style rock 'n' roll to a French accordion ballad and even a calypso number.
If you missed the show's run in Bradford in November, this is a great second chance to see it. Joseph is a lot of fun but be warned - you'll have the catchy tunes in your head for days after.
The show runs until February 9.
