Bill Wyman and his Rhythm Kings are making their way to York.

Rock 'n' roll icon, author, restaurateur and all-round legend, the former Rolling Stones bassist's latest musical rebirth is as the driving force behind the Rhythm Kings.

The virtuoso musicians bring to life the kind of classic rhythm and blues that first inspired Wyman to pick up a guitar as a teenager.

Joining Bill Wyman on stage will be Albert Lee, also known as Mr Telecaster, whose lightning-fast speed has earned him a reputation as the guitarist's guitarist,' Dennis Locorriere, Dr Hook, lead vocalist and guitarist; Geraint Watkins, legendary rock n' roll, boogie and blues pianist who has worked with some of the biggest names in music during his 30-year plus career, from Van Morrison to Paul McCartney; Terry Taylor, from Tuckey Buzzard and The Arrows, on guitar; drummer Graham Broad, who has worked with such artists as Roger Waters, Tina Turner and The Beach Boys; Nick Payn and Frank Mead on sax; and Beverley Skeete, who has recorded with the likes of Robbie Williams and Elton John and has been vocalist with Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings since the band formed in 1997.
