A BRADFORD man has appeared in court for speeding at almost 100mph on a motorway in Bradford.
Praveen Kumar Singh, 38, of Grattan Road, faced one charge of speeding – exceed 70mph motorway limit – automatic camera device.
He was caught driving a motor vehicle on the M62, between junctions 27 and 26 at Bradford, at a speed exceeding 70 miles per hour. Singh was clocked at 97mph by a motorway speed camera on August 8, 2020.
Singh was fined £507, ordered to pay £110 costs and a £51 victim surcharge for the speeding offence. He was also handed five driving licence points.
A collection order was also made by the court.
Singh pleaded guilty to the speeding charge when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 1, 2022.
