POLICE recovered a number of dangerous weapons from a car in Keighley yesterday afternoon.
Officers searched a vehicle in the Lawkholme Lane area of the town, under Section 1 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
A photo shows what appears to be knives, bats and a hammer, which were seized by officers.
Sergeant Dave Purcell, of Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Section 1 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act confers a power of search of unattended vehicles for certain prohibited items.
“Which is a good job really as we've managed to recover this haul from the streets of Lawkholme this afternoon.”
