ROYAL Mail says the number of letters being sent has fallen by 20 percent since the start of the pandemic, as it once again puts up the price of stamps.
This week the cost of a standard first class stamp rose by 10p to 95p and second class went up by 2p to 68p.
Is there any wonder fewer people are posting letters, when it costs almost £6 for half a dozen stamps?
With the cost of living shooting up, I can’t see many of us sending Christmas cards this year.
