POLICE have found a cannabis farm at a huge warehouse after attending a serious assault in Bradford last night.

The force is treating both incidents as linked and say there were five men in the area at the time.

Officers were called just after 10.15pm on Sunday night to reports that a man had been attacked on Planestress Road, Laisterdyke.
The man, in his 30s, was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, not deemed to be life-threatening.
Soon after, the drugs farm was found in former business premises at the top of Chapman Street.
Scenes are currently in place at both locations whilst enquiries are ongoing.
DI Ryan Bragg of Bradford CID Said: "We are treating these incidents as linked and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
"Our early investigations would suggest that there were around five men in the area at the time.
"We are appealing for those men to come forward and help us with our investigation.
"CCTV and House to house enquiries are being carried out.
"A scene is in place whilst we conduct a number of enquiries in the area."
A spokesperson from the force added: "Detectives are investigating a serious assault at Planestrees Road in Bradford.
"Officers were called shortly after 10.15pm last night to reports that a man had been assaulted in the street.
"A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
"A short while later officers discovered a cannabis farm at the top of Chapman Street.
"Scenes are in place at both locations whilst enquiries are ongoing.
