A NUMBER of people from the Bradford district have appeared in court charged with using a mobile phone while driving.
The list of motorists below were sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court over the last month. Their sentences included being fined and given licence points.
- Ahmad Alsamrah, 24, of Talbot Street, Bradford, was handed six licence points, fined £83, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for using a handheld mobile phone/device while driving a motor vehicle on a road - endorsable offence on Morley Street, Bradford, on September 17, 2021.
- Gary Dimbleby, 36, of Pentland Avenue, Clayton, was given six points, fined £40 and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for the offence in Market Street, Bradford, on September 5, 2021.
- Anthony Gribbin, 43, of Leaventhorpe Hall, Thornton Road, Bradford, was handed six licence points, fined £166, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for the offence on Thornton Road, Bradford, on January 7, 2022.
- Daniel Pullen, 44, of Beech Road, Bradford, was given six licence points, fined £40, ordered to pay £90 costs and a £34 victim surcharge for the offence on Canal Road, Bradford, on August 14, 2021.
