PEOPLE in the district have until Monday to share their views on plans to extend an order banning the anti-social use of vehicles in public spaces.
The Public Space Protection Order is due to be renewed, but Bradford Council is required to hold a consultation before this can be done.
The order bans any use of a vehicle in a way which could cause harassment, alarm or distress. This includes, but is not limited to: excessive noise; danger to other road users (including pedestrians); damage or risk of damage to private property; shouting, swearing at, or abusing, threatening or intimidating another person – including using sexual language or making sexual suggestions; any public nuisance to another person.
The order covers any space to which the public has access, including roads, car parks parks and green spaces.
Anyone failing to comply with the order could face a Fixed Penalty notice or fine of £1,000.

The consultation ends on Monday, April 4.
