THE air ambulance is understood to have landed close to Bradford city centre this afternoon.
A reader got in touch to say they saw police cars on the road and the ambulance land on Shipley Airedale Road, close to the junction of North Street.
We now have more details on why the air ambulance landed.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "At 12pm today (1/4) police received a report of a concern for safety at a block of flats on North Street.
"A woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"Scenes have been put in place while enquiries are carried out into the incident."
