Bradford Bulls stars Glenn Morrison and Craig Kopczak have taken time out to launch a charity shop clothes exchange.
Under the trial scheme, anyone who donates unwanted items of Marks & Spencer clothing to Oxfam, in Bradford, gets a £5 voucher to spend at M&S.
One million tonnes of clothing is sent by the public to landfill sites in the UK every year and organisers hope it will remind people to donate, rather than discard, their unwanted clothes.
Martyn Hunter, store manager of Oxfam in Bradford, said: "The Exchange benefits everyone - Oxfam gets more great clothes to sell and as a result can help more people escape poverty, customers get £5 off at M&S, and the amount of clothing that is reused and recycled dramatically increases."
Anita Greenshields, of M&S in Bradford, said: "We are delighted to have teamed up with Oxfam, the UK's biggest charity shop."
