Shared dormitories and bathroom facilities will be converted at a youth hostel in one of the most visited towns in the district.
In their place will be state-of-the-art private rooms, en-suite facilities, more family accommodation and better services for disabled people.
It is all down to a £262,000 cash windfall to revamp and modernise Haworth Youth Hostel as part of £13.5 million being pumped into hostels across England and Wales.
The work - expected to start next winter - will also involve constructing two family rooms and a "wheelchair friendly" room to make access easy for disabled people.
