Two people have died in a fire at a Bradford home this morning.
Emergency services were called to a house on Ringwood Road on the Canterbury estate at 6.38am.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Sadly, it was later confirmed that two people had died as a result of the blaze. Investigations are currently ongoing to find the cause."
Neighbours saw black smoke coming from the house.
One local resident, who was at the scene at the time of the fire, said: “The fire brigade made a big hole in the door because they couldn’t get in.
“There was loads of black smoke coming out of the house.”
The neighbour also saw two people receiving medical attention.
"It's so sad," she added.
Another neighbour said: "It’s sad. We have a very close and tight-knit community.
“I didn’t see what happened this morning.
"I've just seen all the police cars and fire engines.”
