A BRADFORD music star from the 1980s scene in the city is set to return for a performance in a tribute band.
Paul Mother was a prominent frontman and lead singer on the Bradford music scene in the 1980s with his band Harlequyn and later with Architect in the ‘90s.
Harlequyn had three singles and one album, titled The Order of the Golden Dawn.
Between 1989 and 1994, Paul’s other band, Architect, had two singles and one album called Poets and Thieves.
Paul and his band toured with big names such as Doctor and the Medics, Big country, Uriah Heap and Zodiac Mind Warp.
He is now return to Bradford fronting the Marc Bolan and T Rex tribute, Total REX, next month.
They will play Tickles Music Hall in Westgate, Bradford city centre, on Saturday, April 9, doors open at 7pm.
Paul is a huge T Rex fan and his 1993 solo CD titled Bolanesque featured T Rex covers which was well received in the Bolan fan community in the ‘90s and is still a favourite today.
