A sports centre has re-opened after being left under two feet of water during torrential rain recently.

Baildon Recreation Centre has opened its doors again after the site was flooded last week.

Staff at the Bradford Council centre cleaned up the site and pressure washers were used to eliminate brown silt.

Councillor Anne Hawkes-worth, executive member for environment and culture for the Council, said: "The staff have worked really hard to make the place clean and we are pleased to say we are back in business.

"All the classes are on except for the ju-jitsu club which unfortunately has to replace some damaged equipment."
