A BRADFORD man has been jailed for possessing a razor blade in a city supermarket.
Heath Harrison, 42, of Bowling Old Lane, has been jailed for a total of six months for two offences.
He was committed to prison for six months for a charge of possessing knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place - criminal justice act 1988. The incident took place at Lidl, Manchester Road, Bradford, on January 31, 2022, where he possessed a razor blade.
He was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge.
In the second offence, failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time, on March 1, 2022, he was committed to prison for one month, to run concurrently.
Harrison was jailed as the offences were deemed so serious and was aggravated by his record of previous offending.
He pleaded guilty to both charges when he was sentenced at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on March 11, 2022.
