THE UNIVERSITY of Bradford has announced the launch of the UNIfy Festival 2022, a celebration which will aim to “shine a light” on creativity and innovation in Bradford
The festival, which is in its second year, will recognise contributions from the University, as well as from individuals, communities and organisations across Bradford.
Professor Shirley Congdon, Vice-Chancellor at the University, said: “Bradford has always been a progressive city, embracing innovation and creativity to develop our distinct identity.
“As part of UNIfy 2022, we will give people the opportunity to find out about some of the great research and projects being delivered in the city, and how they can help create new ideas that will drive and shape our future.”
The UNIfy Festival will take place from Saturday 26 to Thursday 31 March, launching with a CommUNIty Open Day at the University on the Saturday.
The open day will be packed with family activities, ranging from the award-winning Virtual Bradford – where visitors can step inside and explore a digital version of the city centre - to an escape room where teams can see if they can solve a crime scene.
The rest of the week will also be full of exciting activities for visitors.
People can see the full programme and book their free tickets now.
