POLICE were in disbelief that they seized two cars in subsequent days for the same offence on the same Bradford road.
Both incidents occurred on Thornton Road on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday night, a driver thought he could use a trade plate to drop his friend off at the train station.

The driver thought he could use a trade plate to drop his friend off at the train station. That's not what they're for, especially not when they're expired! Car seized, driver reported to DVLA for driving with no VEL and misuse of trade plates. pic.twitter.com/bFokzdPkPR
Not only is that an invalid reason to use them, but the plates were also expired.
The driver was reported to the DVLA for driving with no Vehicle Excise License (VEL) and misuse of trade plates.
While on Sunday, an employee's company car was seized after they too did not have a VEL.

Company car provided to an employee. Unfortunately they forgot to provide any VEL to go with it! Seized on behalf of DVLA and reported to them. #OpSteerside
Déja vu. I'm sure we were here yesterday. pic.twitter.com/5tpmR2mv3x
