A BRADFORD man has been fined £660 and banned from driving for two years for failing to comply with police.
Fiaz Mohammed, 41, of Peterborough Road in the Undercliffe area, was found guilty of not complying with a police request and was sentenced last Monday (March 7) at Boston Magistrates' Court.
He also faced another charge, for speeding, as part of the case, but the offence was withdrawn.
Mohammed was found guilty by Single Justice Procedure on January 20 at Lincoln Magistrates' Court, but did not attend either of the hearings.
The offence was in relation to a request made in Deepdale Lane, Nettleham by, or on behalf of, the Chief Officer of Police for Lincolnshire.
The request was for information from Mohammed relating to the identification of the driver of a silver Mercedes C180, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
Mohammed was disqualified from driving for 24 months, which was obligatory due to repeat offending.
The 41-year-old was also ordered by the court to pay £816 in total.
This includes a £660 fine, a £66 surcharge to fund victim services and costs of £90.
The balance must be paid by April 4.
