The delayed T&A League Cup quarter-final tie between Bradford All Stars and Bradford Arms proved to be a cracker as visitors Arms won 5-4 in a nine-goal thriller.

Scott Metcalfe was the hero for the victors, scoring all five goals. He completed his hat-trick in the first half to give his side a 3-0 interval lead.

All Stars got back into the match when Gulfraz Khan Satti pulled a goal back and then repeated the act ten minutes later.

The hosts missed a penalty but they put that disappointment behind them to equalise through Hasnen Hussain.

Metcalfe then hit his fourth goal of the match to put the visitors in front again only for Ismail Khan to restore parity once again.

It was left for man of the match Metcalfe to hit goal number five with five minutes to go to put the visitors through to the semi-final.

The top match in the Premier Division between leaders Fairbank and second-placed IMS Celtic was also a thriller but featured just the one goal, Celtic winning to leapfrog their hosts.

Both teams missed chances in the first half before the winning goal came ten minutes after the break.

An excellent free-kick from the right was converted by Steve Ramsey.

West Bowling United and Ravenscliffe shared 12 goals in a 6-6 draw at Emsleys.

It was very much a game of two halves as Ravenscliffe scored all six of their goals in the first half.

The hosts replied just before the break with a strike from Sajid Mahmood and that proved to be the spark which brought them to life. With the wind in their favour, United were much the better side in the second half, with Mahmood going on to complete his hat-trick and the outstanding Satnam Banghar - who claimed the man of the match award - netting his first goal of the season.

Shezard Ashraf also hit a brace for the hosts, his second and equalising goal coming with the last kick of the game.

There were even more goals at Smiling Mule as they beat Abundant Life 8-5.

The visitors were 4-3 up at half-time but, with the elements in their favour, the hosts ran out comfortable winners. Paul Hickey notched a hat-trick and Daniel Rushforth hit a brace. David Lund, Gary Marshall and Karl Hall scored the other goals for Mule.
