A MAN is to appear in court for allegedly trespassing on land at night in a Subaru for poaching.
Allan Wardman, 31, of Bewerley Crescent in the Low Moor area of Bradford, is charged with entering land as a trespasser at night with poaching equipment.
He is due to appear at Hull Court House this afternoon.
The charge is in relation to August 24 last year.
Wardman is alleged to have gone to Aldbrough - which is around an hour's drive away - in a green and grey Subaru Forester Estate (4x4).
He is then alleged to have unlawfully entered land there in the car and was intending to take or destroy game.
Aldbrough is a quaint village, seven miles to the north-east of Knaresborough.
It is expected Wardman will plead not guilt today.
