FOUR people were arrested and one man was taken to hospital following a Brighouse altercation involving an air rifle.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Police said: "At 6.07pm yesterday police received a report of an altercation involving a number of individuals, one of which was said to be in possession of an air rifle, on Thornes Park, Brighouse.
"Officers attended an address on Thornes Park and found two males and a female with injuries following the altercation.
"A male in his fifties was taken to hospital with head injuries not thought to be life threatening at this time.
"Three men and a woman were arrested in connection with the incident, on suspicion of public order offences.
A police cordon was in place on Thornes Park but it has since been taken down. Enquiries are ongoing.
