MYSTERY surrounds a house in the Bradford district which features a former mechanics business which has been unused for more than two years.
The property on Wilmer Road, Heaton, has been left unoccupied and has cars, which were previously on sale, in its driveway.
LATEST UPDATE: Sad story behind abandoned mechanics garage revealed
Around six cars have been left, with some of them having their windows smashed since.
Moss can also be seen growing on the windows of one of the vehicles which has been left.
Few clues are given about the story behind the site, only signs for Lamont Garage, a mechanics which previously operated on-site.
It was also known as Heaton Garage in the past, dealing with new and used cars.
Historian and photographer Mark Davis visited the site and took a number of images.
He posted the images on the Telegraph & Argus's Camera Club Facebook page, writing: "Heaton Garage where car prices stand still.
"Locked and neglected since the owners’ death over two years ago."
Residents of Wilmer Road were unable to shed much further light on the background to the house, but it is understood the two men who run it died within the last three years.
A Wilmer Road resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "It's been abandoned for a while.
"It was a working garage."
Another Wilmer Road resident, who did not wish to be named, said: "He died a couple of years ago and it has been abandoned.
"I used to see him with the cars."
