POLICE have released an image of four of the knives they have recently recovered from Bradford addresses as part of their Operation Jemlock.
West Yorkshire Police's Detective Superintendent Lee Barry tweeted: "Fantastic partnership work to make our communities safer. Targeted patrols, evidence-based intervention and intelligence-led operations @WYP_OpJemlock @WestYorksPolice @DeputyMayorPCWY
The Twitter feed from Operation Jemlock added alongside an image of the latest array of bladed weapons seized: "Some more great work as a result of enforcing UKBA importation offences. These are some of the knives removed from homes within Bradford."
Operation Jemlock was launched in 2019 in response to rising violence and knife crime. West Yorkshire Police announced in December 2021 that 1,000 weapons had been seized as part of the operation
