THE authority responsible for transport in the region have explained why a Bradford bus stop has been removed.
Confusion was caused last week when passengers noticed the shelter on Rooley Lane, Bude Road, Westbound was no longer there.
The stop's two windows had been smashed in recent weeks.
On the first occasion, shattered glass had scattered across the pavement making it a real hazard for pedestrians.
The Telegraph and Argus did approach the police for a comment at the time but they had not received any reports in relation to the incident.
The West Yorkshire Combined Authority say in both instances the glass was cleared.
They also add the reason behind the bus stop's removal is due to the damaged caused by the storms last month.
A spokesperson said: "The shelter was damaged during Storm Eunice so it was removed, and will be replaced as soon as possible."
