Historic Windsor Baths nightclubs in Bradford city centre up for sale

The 26,000 sq ft site contains four separate units – previously home to popular nightspots and drinking venues – and has hit the market for interested investors to take on.

Located in Bradford’s West End between Great Horton Road and Morley Street, three of the four units are currently unoccupied, with the fourth home to the Brewdog bar which opened in November.

One of the units currently empty was most recently home to the Sir Titus Salt pub operated by JD Wetherspoon, which closed its doors after ‘Spoons announced it was selling up in 2016.

The other two were home to nightclubs, one was The Circle Nightclub, which last advertised a club night in February 2019, and the other was Tiki-O, which has also closed – impacted heavily by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Eerie pictures from inside the venues show how the implementation of Covid-19 closures impacted the site, with numerous soft drinks bottles left unopened on the bars, stacks of plastic cups and decorations still in place.

The Tiki bar is still kitted out in with its Polynesian decorations, while in Circle the glitter ball still hangs above the dancefloor.

In the former Wetherspoons unit it feels like stepping back in time, with the dated carpets and décor still in place.

Both the Wetherspoon and Circle feature stunning original features from the building’s historic past as Windsor Baths with exposed steel beams and an extensive skylight on show.

With life returning to normal, its hoped investors can be found to bring the prominent sites back into use, located at the heart of Bradford’s West End and just a five-minute walk from the University of Bradford and from the city centre.

Promoting the site, agency Fleurets describe it as “a substantial property located in a significant and prominent location”.

They add: “It has 34,000 sq ft of current bar and nightclub space (part let) offering huge potential for new leisure units or alternative development options.

“Having formerly been the site of the Royal Windsor Baths, the property has been significantly re-developed to comprise five large leisure units, four small retail units and a large suite of offices, all located within a two storey stone built construction under pitched slate roof coverings.”
