THE centre of two Bradford district towns are each set to host beer festivals as people are urged to return to the high streets.
Shipley Beer Fest will take place in the town's market square on Saturday, March 12. Meanwhile, Bingley Market Square will holds its own event on March 19, both held between noon and 10pm under a weatherproof stretch tent.
It will see revellers get the chance to choose between beers from across the district. Saltaire and Shipley-based sites including Salt Beer Factory, Cap and Collar, The Fox and The Triangle will showcase their drinks at the event.

The Shipley festival will feature food supplied by sites including Hullabaloo in Shipley, Mozzafella and Il Pirata Pizzata. There will also be music from a host of DJs.
Sup is offering the chance for people to rally around businesses with two free-entry, first-of-their-kind, family-friendly events.
Both festivals have been organised by Raven Staging, a Bradford-based events company, alongside Bradford Council.
Sup is part of a number of events in Bradford this spring as part of the council’s 'Spring Back' campaign which aims to get people to return to the district's high streets.
Businesses taking part in the Bingley event include Wishbone Brewery, Goose Eye Brewery and The Peacock.
Eddie Kean, director of Raven Staging, said: "The focus for these events is to kickstart the year and drive footfall to our high streets by providing a platform to our local community of creators and entrepreneurs.
"Selecting our partners has been made that much easier by the world class quality of what’s on offer within the Bradford postcode.
"My hope is that the range of exceptional partners at these events will generate an equally great turnout from our local community.
"If Sup can provide a small celebratory salve for the difficulty we’ve all endured over the past few years, I’ll be a happy man.
"I look forward to raising a glass to us.”
Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council's portfolio holder for regeneration, planning and transport, said: “I’m really pleased we’ve been able to fund so many great events taking place across the district and in our towns and villages.
"I’m particularly pleased to see so many wonderful local businesses taking the opportunity to showcase their offer and I’m sure it’ll be a great day out for everyone.”
Sup will be running a competition on their social media giving away on-the-day prizes at both events, including free food and drink. Follow @supbfd on Instagram and Facebook
