An exhibition on women's football is to be launched at Bradford City's bantamspast museum.

It is set to be split into sections, from the golden age of women's football in the 1920s to the 50-year Football Associa-tion ban until 1971, the slow rebirth in the 1980s and women's experiences of watching matches at Valley Parade.

David Pendleton, curator of the museum and lifelong Bantams fan, said: "It is incredible to think that before the rebuilding of the ground in 1986 there was only one women's toilet in the ground."

The volunteers, led by Mr Pendleton, need memories and experiences for the exhibition, which is to start on March 1.

Call in at the museum before any home game and ask for Mr Pendleton, write to him c/o Bradford City AFC, Valley Parade, Bradford, BD8 7DY or e-mail dpen@blueyonder.co.uk.
