POLICE issued a number of tickets and warnings following traffic operations carried out in Tong, Birstall and Birkenshaw.
The Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Officers from Operation Steerside were working in the Tong area on Tuesday
"One vehicle was seized for document offences, two S.59 warnings were issued for driving in a careless or inconsiderate manner and tickets were issued to drivers for other traffic-related offences."
Operation Torrbank, a joint operation including Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, roads policing officers and local councillors, patrolled the Birstall/Birkenshaw ward on Sunday.
Fifteen motorists were dealt with - ten were issued with tickets for driving between 38 to 45 mph in a 30mph zone, one vehicle was seized for a licence offence and four verbal warnings were issued.
