A ROAD was blocked for at least six hours after two vehicles crashed near a pub, with one of them hitting a wall.
West Yorkshire Police was called to reports of a collision on Denholme Gate Road (A644), near the Hare & Hounds pub, in the Hipperholme area, at 12.25pm.
It involved two vehicles, with one of them ending up colliding with a wall.
It is believed minor injuries were suffered, with police still at the scene in the afternoon.
The road was blocked between its junction with Northedge Lane and Bramley Lane.
This caused congestion to build in the area.
The road was still showing as being blocked at 6.26pm, but that alert was removed by 7pm.
