A thief who stole a white Ford Transit van from Victoria Avenue, Ilkley, on Wednesday afternoon may have been watching the vehicle.
Police say a thief was male, possibly white, with short, cropped black hair. Any witnesses are asked to call Keighley Police on (01535) 617059.
