POLICE detained a young girl and boy for allegedly stealing from a shop.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were out on patrol in the Queensbury area yesterday afternoon.
They detained two youths - a female and male - after a theft from a shop in the area.
Police arrested the boy and issued a youth community resolution to the girl.
The Bradford South NPT posted about the incident on its Facebook page yesterday evening and urged people to get in contact with any anti-social behaviour issues.
The post said: "Earlier this evening two youths have been detained by local NPT PCSO’s after a theft from shop in the Queensbury area.
"One male was arrested whilst the female was issued with a youth community resolution.
"We encourage members of public to report any anti-social behaviour via 101 or our online web chat service (https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/101LiveChat ).
"Bradford South NPT Continue to disrupt and deter those intent on causing anti-social behaviour with the intent to steal within Bradford South with extra patrols in key areas."
