A man aged 29 has been remanded in custody to Bradford Crown Court accused of attempting to rob a woman at one of the city’s main attractions.
Alpha Barry, of no fixed address, appeared at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court charged with the offence alleged to have been committed on February 1.
The offence is alleged to have taken place at the National Science and Media Museum, located in the west end of the city centre.
He is said to have tried to rob the woman of cash, her bag and her laptop computer.
Barry is set to appear at the crown court on March 18.
