En route she shares happy memories from her past as well as the beauty and warmth of Yorkshire - and its people - where she’s lived all her life.
During tomorrow night's episode, Jane visits Oakworth Station, the location for the iconic film 'The Railway Children' and takes a trip on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, where she meets one of her teenage celebrity crushes; Chris Witty, who starred in the original movie.
At Oakworth Station, Jane punches her full line train ticket and also gets to wait in its Victorian ladies' room.
Aboard the train, Jane is a fan of the throwback railway journey, observing; 'I love the fact you can see the driver. It's very old-fashioned and cosy'.
When speaking to Witty during their train trip, Jane reveals her love of the original 1970 film, The Railway Children, adding it is from an 'innocent time'.
Jane added about the stream train trip: "This journey is beautiful all year round."
Meanwhile, also during tomorrow night's episode, the popular singer travels to Bronte Country with a trip to Haworth.
She takes a stroll up the village's steep High Street, observing 'you might need your walking boots' for the trek.
She also stops at the Bronte Parsonage Museum, admitting that Charlotte Bronte's classic novel' Jane Eyre, is one of her favourite books.
Elsewhere in the episode, Wakefield-born Jane pays a nostalgic trip to her home city and visits the National Coal Mining Museum and even goes down a coal mine, following in the footsteps of her father and brother.
Revisiting her childhood, she visits one of her father’s favourite places, Balne Lane Working Men’s Club in Wakefield, where Jane first learned to dance with her father.
Jane finds a local ballroom dancing group and takes to the floor.
As is tradition with Jane's popular TV programmes, she even sings a classic song to close the show.
Jane McDonald: My Yorkshire will be broadcast on Channel 5 tomorrow at 9pm.
