A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with stealing blue ray DVDs from a Bradford shop.
Danielle Bookhart, 22, of Sycamore Close, Bradford, faced one charge of theft from a shop.
She stole three blue ray DVDs, to the value of £92.97, belonging to HMV in Bradford. The items stolen were contrary to the Theft Act 1968.
Bookhart, who pleaded guilty to the charge, was handed a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge and £85 costs for the offence.
The case against Bookhart was proven in her absence at an earlier hearing on January 12, 2022.
She was sentenced at Leeds Magistrates' Court on February 19, 2022.
A collection order was made for the total of £107, which is the sum to be recovered.
