A MAN has been jailed for stealing chocolate, whiskey and Nicorette products from a Bradford district supermarket.
Lewis Heckles, 24, of Bingley Road, Cross Roads, Keighley, was jailed for a total of 12 weeks for three theft from a shop charges.
He was jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £60 compensation for stealing Jack Daniels whiskey, worth a total of £60, from Sainsbury's in Keighley on November 30, 2021.
Heckles was committed to prison for 12 weeks, to run concurrently, for stealing Nicorette products, worth a total of £150, from Sainsbury in Keighley on November 23, 2021.
He was committed to prison for eight weeks, to run concurrently, for stealing chocolate, worth £26.25, from Sainsbury's in Keighley on December 8, 2021.
He was jailed as the offences were deemed so serious because pattern of similar offences.
Heckles pleaded to all charges when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 1, 2022.
