While we’ve experienced poor weather recently across the UK in the form of storms and flooding, it’s not over yet with snow also on its way in some areas, including in Bradford.
It's important to be able to prepare for snowfall so, if you're unsure if your area is affected this week, look no further.
We’ve taken a look at the weather forecasts issued by both BBC and the Met Office and here’s what we found.

Will it snow in Bradford this week?
BBC Weather
Sleet showers are expected to hit Bradford from 5am on Thursday, February 24 with heavy snow falling from 7am with it only becoming a lighter snowfall from 1pm, according to the BBC’s weather forecast.
Light snow showers and gusts of wind are expected after that until4pm when they’re expected to return to being heavy snow showers.
Sleet showers will begin again at 5pm and continue until 8pm.
Met Office
The Met Office expects sleet showers to be seen in Bradford from around 8am on Thursday with heavy snow arriving by later on in the morning, around 11am.
In the Met Office’s Yorkshire & Humber weather forecast, it says Thursday will be “Windy and cold, with occasional blustery wintry showers. However, also some bright spells in-between, these more prevalent in the east. Maximum temperature 6 °C.”
From Friday to Sunday, it expects “Sunny spells and lighter winds developing through Friday. Chilly start Saturday, mostly dry but becoming windier and cloudier again. Sunday, variable cloud but mostly dry. Still breezy.”
