A BRADFORD man appeared in court charged with stealing a coat from a city shop.
Krisztian Tipan, 32, of Killinghall Road, appeared in court on two charges.
In the first, theft from a shop, he stole a Puma coat, worth £34.99, from TK Maxx, Forster Square, Bradford, on January 15, 2022. He was also ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 cosurt costs for the offence.
Tipan was also convicted for failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time, at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court, on February 3, 2022.
He was given a community order for both offences, which includes carrying out 200 hours unpaid work in the community over the next 12 months.
Tipan pleaded guilty to both charges when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates' Court on February 10, 2022.
