Storm Eunice, whose high winds resulted in road closures in other parts of the UK, 'changed her mind' in the Isle of Man
THE Isle of Man government was slammed for sexism after posting that a proposed road closure due to winds from Storm Eunice would not go ahead as 'Just like most women Eunice changes her mind what she's doing.' The post saw the government slated as being sexist and misogynistic.
How ridiculous - I'm a woman and I think it’s funny. It shows the government - which has women members - as having a wry sense of humour. And furthermore, it’s true - we women do frequently change our minds. It’s impossible nowadays to take a lighthearted look at anything without attracting criticism.
