A woman has been arrested in Bradford and is being questioned about the murder of former Bradford policeman David Ward.
The 24-year-old woman was arrested yesterday and is being held in police custody.
Mr Ward, 38, who was a police officer at Odsal between 1989 and 1992, was found dead at his home in Wakefield in the early hours of Wednesday after police were called to the report of a burglary taking place.
A 25-year-old man from Wakefield has been charged with murder and is due to appear before magistrates in the city today.
A 28-year-old Wakefield man is still in custody after police were given extra time to question him.
Mr Ward became an internet car salesman after resigning from the police in 1992.
