A PATH was filled with broken glass after a Bradford bus stop shelter window was smashed earlier this week.
At 4.20pm on Wednesday afternoon, Telegraph & Argus reporter Rowan Newman noticed that one of the shelter windows on the Rooley Lane, Bude Road, Westbound bus stop had been severely damaged.
The shattered glass had scattered across the pavement making it a real hazard for pedestrians.
After being notified on Wednesday, the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, which is responsible for transport in the region, cleared the broken glass immediately.
Teams from the authority also replaced the missing panel a day later.
A spokesperson from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority urged the public to report such incidents as soon as possible in the future.
They said: “After being notified of damage on February 17, local teams attended the shelters and cleared away the glass.
"The missing panel was replaced on February 18.
“We advise members of the public to contact us if there is bus stop damage and we will arrange repairs.

The Telegraph and Argus did approach the police for a comment but they had not received any reports in relation to the incident.
