LATEST NEWS: Bradford councillor wants schools to use library after six-figure refurbishment
WIBSEY Library has had to close temporarily due to the condition of the floor.
Bradford Council are operating an Order & Collect Service from the North Road library until Saturday, February 19, but the library will close completely from Monday, February 21, for five weeks.
The floor in the library will be replaced and the library will be closed for five weeks.
Wyke will be the nearest library, and staff will contact customers who may have items to collect if they wish to collect from any library location.
The phone will be diverted so that calls from Wibsey customers will still be answered.
A Bradford Council spokesman said: “We apologise for closing Wibsey Library so suddenly but it is essential work that needs to take place and it will improve the facility for the future.”
