A TEENAGER was left seriously injured after a group of eight males assaulted him with a weapon, believed to be an axe, in Bradford.
It is reported that around 8.10pm on Tuesday (February 8), the unknown males began chasing a 16-year-old boy in Ramsden Avenue.
They are described as wearing black clothing and balaclavas, and one person is described as wearing a fur hooded top.
The group caught up with the male and began assaulting him.
One suspect then assaults the victim with what is believed to be an axe, before they were disturbed by a member of the public and they all make off on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital with injuries to his hand.
Officers are appealing for information to try and identify the individuals, who may be able to assist with enquiries.
Police are also keen to hear from anyone who may have CCTV, camera doorbells or dashcam footage to get in touch.
