RESIDENTS of West Yorkshire have been asked to talk about issues they have experienced with the region's rail network.
Throughout February West Yorkshire Mayor Tracy Brabin is asking people to tell her of their experiences, and the stories will be presented to the Transport Select Committee where she will be giving evidence on the Integrated Rail Plan.
Ms Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, said: “We’re hearing of people being late to work, unable to put their kids to bed, missing out on learning opportunities and all of this is directly related to our rail network.
“I want the government to hear these stories and to understand how much of an impact their decisions, like the Integrated Rail Plan, have on the people in this region.
“If your life is being impacted by the rail network in West Yorkshire, then I want you to write to me, so I can demand better for our region.”
Members of the public are invited to tell their story by emailing telltracy@westyorks-ca.gov.uk or by filling in the form at westyorks-ca.gov.uk.
