One happy customer said: "Such great service, friendly welcome, super pizza and dessert, great red wine. Highly recommend. Great atmosphere."

The coffee afterwards was the best espresso I've had in years - the only coffee I've had that's comparable was in continental Europe. It was described as a "slice of heaven" by one couple who lived in Italy for seven years.

Their review reads: "I said to my husband (besides the rubbish British weather ) I could close my eyes and be back in Italy.

"The food was so authentic, I haven't eaten Italian food as good as that in such a long time.

"The pasta was cooked to perfection (al'dente). The pizza was perfect."
