There were 4,479 confirmed cases in today's figures, down from 4,895 yesterday and a 34 per cent decrease on the previous week. 

The infection rate per 100,000 people currently stands at 826.2, lower than the UK rate of 923.2.

The data looks at cases by 'Middle Super Output Area (MSOA)' - a type of statistical unit used in the reporting of small area statistics.
