'Several miles' of traffic on M62 after crashes
THERE are delays on the M62 this afternoon following two crashes.
Traffic was held on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 24 and 25 while the incidents were dealt with.
#M62 east between J24 and J25. Traffic held to clear two separate minor collisions. Traffic should be released shortly. Our #trafficofficers are working as fast as they can. National Highways said: "All vehicles now on the hard shoulder and all lanes open.
"However there remains 30 min delay and several miles of congestion.
"Will take a while for the congestion to clear."
