Male arrested after report of serious sexual assault in Bradford park
A MALE has been arrested following a report of a serious sexual assault on a girl in Bradford.
Detectives from West Yorkshire Police issued an appeal for information earlier today.
Police were contacted at 1.13am about the incident, said to have happened in Pit Hill Park, Holme Wood, between 5.50pm and 7pm last night.
A scene has been in place today to allow forensic examination and specialist searches to take place.
In an update this afternoon, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Officers investigating a serious sexual assault on a girl in Pit Hill Park, Holme Wood, have arrested a male and is currently in police custody.
"Enquiries into the offence remain ongoing."
