RESIDENTS of an area in Bradford are displeased at the work done by an energy company to repaint a bus stop marking.
The poor paint job appears on Main Street in Wilsden and seems unfinished with only three letters visible.
Northern Gas Networks (NGN) have been participating in roadworks in the area since January 28.
The work, which has been going on from 8.30am-4.00pm, is expected to be completed on March 4.
Stephen Langley brought the markings to light in the Wilsden Residents Facebook group.
One woman said: "You couldn't make it up."
"Another quality job," someone else remarked in sarcasm.
Chris Green, Business Operations Lead for NGN, said: "It’s our responsibility to put the road surface back to a good standard after we’ve finished our works.
"Unfortunately the work here has fallen short of our standards and we want to put it right as quickly as we can.
"We’ll work with the council to find a date to go back and correct this as soon as possible."
It is the second time in the space of a month that NGN have apologised for not completing bus stop re-markings.
Daniel Wakefield highlighted the "unacceptable work" elsewhere in the Bradford District.
