Emergency services were called to a street in the Wyke area of Bradford on Thursday night.
Residents reported seeing two ambulances and a large police presence on the Wycoller estate, off Huddersfield Road, at around 9pm.
At around 9.30pm, a resident told the T&A: "They've taken someone in the ambulance on a stretcher 20 minutes ago and more police cars are arriving every five minutes."
By 11pm, the presence of emergency services on the street was being scaled back.
Police are yet to release a statement on the incident.
